We all have our regrets over lost opportunities. Turns out that so do showbiz stars Hareem Farooq and Ali Rehman.
In an interview for ‘The Munshi Show‘, the actor and actress from Parchi opened up about the things that they feel they lost out on.
We now know that Hareem Farooq and Ali Rehman Khan lost up on bigger opportunities because they were tied up with Parchi. But like true professionals, they didn’t ditch their commitments but kept on with it.
The Things they Lost During “Parchi”
It all started when the host asked Ali Rehman Khan if he regrets doing fewer television serials than films. After all television is a bigger medium than film in Pakistan.

Turns out Ali Rehman Khan’s only regret is passing up on Cake. He was offered a role in the award-winning blockbuster Cake but he wasn’t able to take up the gig. At the time Ali Rehman Khan was busy doing Parchi. He said that he does regret passing it on but not that much.
Meanwhile, Hareem Farooq was offered the opportunity to do Laal Kabotaar. She wishes she could have done Laal Kabootar because she was busy with the promotion of Parchi.

Despite their losses, both Hareem Farooq and Ali Rehman Khan are proud of how their careers turned out.
Speaking of lost opportunities, the two spilled the beans on Reema having to pass up on Heer Maan Ja. Originally Reema was approached for the mehndi anthem ‘Addi Maar‘ in Heer Maan Ja. Later Reema had to back out due to personal matters.
The role then went to former supermodel Zara Sheikh. Probably for the better because the song has become something of a mehndi anthem this wedding season.
