Ramadan is a month of happiness and joy. This is also perhaps the only month when we see some light content on television. Pakistani dramas are not dominated by sad faces but show togetherness and love are popular choices in Ramadan.
Many channels have already released promos of their new dramas in Ramadan and we must admit that all of them look equally appealing. In fact this time the competition is very tough! Here are some shows that we can’t wait to watch. Look out for them!
1.Ishq Jalebi
Geo’s new drama stars Madiha Imam and Wahaj Ali in lead roles. The drama promises action, love, romance and wit all packed in one. We are loving the new pair and everything about the drama seems very unique.
The drama is produced by 7th Sky entertainment and the first episode will go on air on 1st Ramadan. It is directed by the director of Khuda Aur Mohabbat 3, Syed Wajahat Hussain, and the script has been penned by Saima Akram Chaudhary, the writer of Suno Chanda.

Apart from Madiha Imam and Wahaj Ali, the drama features an ensemble cast featuring Qavi Khan​, Usama Khan​, Mahmood Aslam​, Hina Bayat​, Kashif Mehmood​, Irsa Ghazal​, Noor Ul Hasan​ , Humera Bano, and many others.
2. Chupke Chupke
Ayeza Khan and Osman Khalid Butt’s new serial will air every day at 9 pm on HUM TV. The drama once again features an ensemble cast that includes acclaimed actors like Mira Sethi and Ali Safina. Some new faces including Arsalan (Comics by Arsalan) will also be making their debut. It’s a light-hearted romantic comedy with a lot of diverse characters.
Chupke Chupke is directed by Danish Nawaz and produced by MD Productions. The writer is once again Saima Akram Chaudhry.
3. Tanaa Banaa
Tanaa Banaa is one of the highly anticipated serials this Ramadan. It will feature heartthrob Danyal Zafar and Alize Shah in lead roles. Tanaa Banaa is directed by Saife Hasan and produced by MD Productions. The script has been penned by Hassaan Imam.
Danyal is seen playing the role of a boy who believes in horoscopes blindly. However, when he comes across a girl (Alize Shah) who isn’t specifically a match for him based on their star signs, he is willing to go against everything!
4. Jeeto Pakistan
Last but not the least, is the forever favorite, Jeeto Pakistan. A game show that has been ruling the heart of audiences for years now. This time again, the show will have six teams led by celebrities, Humayun Saeed, Adnan Siddiqui, Sana Javed, and many others. There will be excitement and an overload of gifts. So if you want to experience the joy then don’t miss this out.
