The team behind the upcoming Shoaib Akhtar biopic, Rawalpindi Express: Running Against the Odds has announced a casting call for it on social media.
Here’s your chance to audition for a role in this highly anticipated biopic about one of cricket’s most prolific pacers!
The casting crew is looking for actors between the ages of seven and 70.

Written by Qaiser Nawaz, Rawalpindi Express: Running Against the Odds will be directed by Faraz Qaiser. It is the first foreign film about a Pakistani sportsman and will take viewers on Akhtar’s ‘rough and tough’ life journey, recounting several incidents as he became the Rawalpindi Express who is known and loved worldwide.
The biopic is slated to be released on 16 November 2023.

Renowned for his deadly pace, vicious yorkers, and bouncers, he is considered the fastest bowler in the history of cricket.
