The upcoming ICC Champions Trophy 2025 is surely going to miss Australia’s captain Pat Cummins and here’s why.

The Aussie pacer went viral with his zany one-liners and puns aimed at rivals like Ben Stokes, Virat Kohli, and Quinton de Kock.

The 31-year-old Aussie skipper, sidelined due to injury, has still managed to steal the spotlight with his hilarious appearance in Prime Video’s latest ad campaign, Go Full Cricket.

The campaign showcases Cummins practicing his sledging skills in the most relatable and absurd ways possible.

In the Go Full Cricket ad, Cummins proves just how much of a cricket tragic he is, delivering sledges to himself in front of a bathroom mirror. The ad is a masterclass in self-deprecating humor, with Cummins cracking jokes about everything from chicken legs to mustaches.

“You only wear those pads to hide your chicken legs,” he quips, staring at his reflection.

In another moment, he deadpans: “Your mustache is so stupid.”

And, of course, there’s the classic cricket sledge: “You allergic to cherries, mate?”

Cummins even pokes fun at his own name, saying, “I’m Pat Cummin for you,” with a grin that’s equal parts dad-joke and self-aware charm.

The ad doesn’t stop at self-sledging. Cummins takes aim at some of cricket’s biggest names, delivering light-hearted jabs at Ashes rivals Ben Stokes and Ollie Pope, as well as Indian superstar Virat Kohli and South African wicketkeeper-batsman Quinton de Kock.

  • To Ben Stokes: “Oi Ben. I’m not stoked about you.”
  • To Ollie Pope: “Hey Pope. You better start praying.”
  • To Virat Kohli: “Hey Kohli, I’ve never seen you bat this slowly.”
  • To Quinton de Kock: “More like Quinton de Block.”

Officially ruled out last week, Cummins will miss the tournament, which kicks off on February 19 in Pakistan.
