There are some good news and bad news for movie-goers. The upcoming film Money Back Guarantee has been postponed.

According to reliable sources the film was scheduled to release on Eid ul Fitr, however, as far good news go makers of MBG have reached some sort of an agreement with the makers of The Legend of Maula Jatt which has now been confirmed for Eid ul Fitr 2020.

The reason behind this decision is Fawad Khan, who does not want his 2 films releasing simultaneously in cinemas. Money Back Guarantee features an ensemble cast including Fawad Khan, Wasim Akram, Mikaal Zulfiqar, Gohar Rasheed, Jan Rambo, Mani and model turned actor Kiran Malik, Ayesha Omar, Shaniera Akram, Rambo, Faisal, Shayan Khan and Marhoom Ahmad Bilal.

It has been nearly 13 years since Fawad Khan appeared in any Pakistani film. The actor’s last film was Bollywood project called Aye Dil Hai Mushkil, which only had his extended cameo. The Legend of Maula Jatt or TLMJ was scheduled to be released on Eid 2019 however, several legal issues had arisen, including copyrights claim by original Maula Jatt producer Mr. Sarwar Bhatti who forced the makers of TLMJ i.e. Ammarah Hikmat and Bilal Lashari to postpone the film indefinitely.

Luckily all the legal issues have now been resolved. The film featuring Fawad Khan, Mahira Khan, Hamza Ali Abbasi and Humaima Malick is now set to release on Eid 2020 which will be approximately on 25th May 2020. On the other hand, Money Back Guarantee or MBG is yet to decide its release date yet. If we are to speculate the film will now be schedule for 19th or 26th June release, nearly a month after the release of TLMJ and also a month before Eid ul Azha 2020. Stay posted for more updates.
