Drama fans are about to experience a whole new world of dark, tragic plot twists. Hina Altaf, Ali Abbas, Sania Saeed, and Azfar Rehman are about to appear in a new drama and the teasers have left us hooked.
Titled Doar, the drama is about a ‘mysterious family and an untold truth’. The teaser shows Hina Altaf and Ali Abbas as a married couple and Azfar Rehman as Ali Abbas’ brother. The story takes a turn when Azfar’s true colors are revealed.
Here are the details of ‘Doar’
Azfar plays the role of a crippled man who seeks pity from his family, but in fact, he is the antagonist of the play. We even hear Hina Altaf calling him a ‘monster’.
But turns out, Azfar Rehman isn’t the only antagonist the Doar couple will face. Sania Saeed, who plays the role of Ali and Azfar’s mother gives us all the negative vibes and it seems that she is the reason behind all this ‘mystery’ and ‘secrets’.
The drama has been penned by Sajjad ‘Saji’ Gul and will also feature Iffat Raheem, Nayyar Ejaz, and Saleem Mairaj among others.
Previously, he shared a photo on his Instagram, revealing the theme of Doar. Sania Saeed stands tall and intimidating as a puppeteer, seemingly controlling the two puppets Ali Abbas and Hina Altaf.
Speaking with Dawn Images, the writer revealed the story and said,
“When one finds themselves threatened and backed into a corner, bringing their survival into question, they lash out at others in retaliation. The philosophy is that at certain times in one’s life, if one does not become unjust, injustice is done to them.”
