Popular actress Hina Altaf recently sat down to share her personal and professional experiences on the very first episode of comedian Tabish Hashmi’s To Be Honest.
True to the show’s title, the talk show extracts honest answers from guests through fun and witty banter. Hina remained honest and shed some interesting facts about herself and the industry in general.
Tabish didn’t hold back and asked Hina who her favorite actor was for intimate scenes. Hina named Emmad Irfani but also went ahead and mentioned who she isn’t comfortable with! The Udaari star expressed displeasure with Faisal Rehman, during romantic scenes.
“I’ve done a romantic scene with Emmad Irfani and I got carried away. With Faisal Rehman, romantic scenes tend to be challenging . Yahan ungli pakarni hogee, woh banda hath pakr lega (In scenes that require just holding fingers, he tends to grab the whole arm).I have to keep my guard on always. I even scared him once by saying ‘Me Too’. After this he kept his distance,” the actor chuckled.
The host, Tabish Hashmir, was visibly taken aback by the story, pointing out the age difference between the two actors and also labeling Faisal’s behavior as harassment, in a witty fashion.
Dr Aamir Liaquat – A Spitter?
The actress was also had fun revealing some ‘interesting’ traits of the one and only Aamir Liaquat. According to Hina, the ‘Doctor’ tends to spit while is talking. She recalled her time on Aamir Liaquat’s game show, and about how he gets very intense while speaking.
“Whenever he talks, spit drips from his mouth. When he talks loudly I feel that the seat will break. Beside that I like him and respect him.”

Throwing Shade At Muneeb
That’s not all, Hina didn’t hold back anything as she said that Muneeb Butt was someone with an aura of arrogance, despite being a low brow actor. On the subject of Muneeb, she talked about how she was not invited to Aiman and Muneeb’s wedding despite the fact that she was friends with the former.
As a well-known vlogger, Hina discussed how social media tends to throw things out of proportion.
“People want to criticize everything on social media yet they themselves can’t stop watching. Video of me rope skipping in the gym would be uploaded with the caption ‘Hina Altaf gym mein sharam nak harkatein kartey hoay’( Hina Altaf doing obscene acts in the gym). At the same time such a video would garner more than a million views,” Hina said.
However, on a lighter note, Hina shared details of her others inbox folder.
“Mostly I get marriage proposals. This one time I remember a guy sent a message that read ‘Hina Altaf you are like chai, ayeee,”
Talking about if she would let her children enter showbiz, Hina discussed how she would never pressurize them in doing something against their will.
“My kids can do whatever they want. However I do wish them to indulge in as many extracurricular activities as possible. Everyone these days just want their children to study continuously,” she said.
