Hina Altaf is one of the fresh faces of Pakistani showbiz. Starting out as a VJ, Hina made her acting debut in 2015. From then on, she has worked hard to achieve her goals.
Recently, Hina appeared as a guest on Bol Nights with Ahsan Khan where she talked about her career in detail.

When asked about when she started her career, Hina said she was only 16 when she first auditioned as a VJ. Ahsan and Nimra were astonished to hear this answer because she was really young.
“I gave my first audtion when I was 16 years old. But I got my first job as a VJ when I was 18. It was a VJ hunt audition for MTV. I couldn’t get the job because I didn’t have an NIC back then.
The judges loved me though, so they promised when I turn 18 they will hire me. So after turning 18, when I applied for my CNIC I ran to my boss and he immediately hired me for the job.”
But the main struggle began when she stepped foot into the field of acting. The Dil-e-Gumshuda actress mentioned that it was really hard for her to start from scratch because at that time she only portrayed supporting characters.
She had to work really hard for her dream. And the hardest part was when people come to you and say ‘why do you only play small roles?’
Hina didn’t take this criticism to the heart. In fact, she said that all of it is part of the journey and that is something she values now.
