Junaid Khan needs no introduction. The singer-turned-actor is going to star in Geo’s Makafaat next month alongside Hira Mani.
We have been treated to a bunch of teasers about this romantic drama. For fans of Hira and Junaid, Makafaat marks the third time this duo has appeared in a drama together. This first two times they appeared in Sun Yaara and Thaays.

This Pakistani romantic drama has been produced by Mastermind Productions. Hassan Zia has taken over production duties while Ahmed Kamran is the one in the director’s chair.

During an interview, here’s what Junaid revealed about his character in Makafaat:
“My role has various dimensions; I essay the character of an emotion-driven guy who belongs to a well-off family. He is the sort who goes out of the way to prove his love for his family members. He is really caring towards his mother and is also a doting brother. In the upcoming project, you will see me as a sweet guy who at times becomes emotionally weak and hence is easily manipulated.”
Guess we’ll find out if Junaid Khan and Hira Mani’s onscreen chemistry is still intact when the drama airs.
