Khuda Aur Muhabbat fans out there are pretty bated about season 3 of the drama series. Khuda Aur Muhabbat 3 cast Feroze Khan and Iqra Aziz as the leads. Interestingly, there’s a story behind why the director picked them as the leads.
In an interview with Entertainment.pk, Wajahat Hussain, the director of the third season of Khuda Aur Muhabbat says that he cast Iqra Aziz and Feroze Khan as they’re both strong actors that can take strong roles.
Plus there were no hiccups in their schedule, so they were an ideal fit.
“I had the script with me. Both the actors have an equally strong part in it. They both really liked the script. Our timelines matched and no doubt they are both very good actors.”

So far Wajahat Hussain is happy with his choice as the experience of shooting the first spell went well.
“We have shot the first spell of the drama and they have proved to be very professional and hardworking. In fact, even if I get a new project in the future where I feel they can do well, I would love to work with them again.”
Khuda Aur Muhabbat 3
All three seasons of KAM have been directed by different people. Anjum Shahzad directed the first season whereas Syed Ali Raza Usama directed the second season.
Prior to Wajahat Hussain, director Shahzad Raffique was supposed to helm the project. Originally, producer Baber Javed had plans to keep Imran Abbas opposite a new face, the Moray Saiyan actress Neha Rajpoot.
When Baber Javed left, Shahzad Raffique was no longer in the cards.
