In an attempt to rally support for her stance, Humaima even conducted a poll on her social media, asking her followers whether they believed it was the fans or the media who truly make an artist a star.
Her defense, however, only added fuel to the fire. While some fans sided with her, others argued that she was missing the point. The issue wasn’t about who makes an artist a star—it was about Feroze’s lack of professionalism and respect for the media.
Critics were quick to point out that while fans are undoubtedly crucial, the media plays an equally important role in promoting artists, giving them visibility, and amplifying their work.
