Humayun Ashraf and Nayab Khan To Star In Tanvir Jamal’s Upcoming Film

The duo will be sharing the screen for the first time.

Veteran actor Tanvir Jamal is making his comeback with an upcoming film titled Japanese Connection. The movie will star chocolate hero Humayun Ashraf and Canadian model Nayab Khan.

Apart from the leading pair, the cast of the film also includes Maira Khan, Ghana Ali, Marina Khan, Nida Mumtaz and Taifoor Khan among others in the supporting roles. As revealed by the director and producer of the film, Tanvir Jamal, 70% of the movie will be shot in Japan, while the rest of the 30% is currently being shot in Pakistan. The shooting began on 11th January and they will be wrapping up in 3-4 days.

By the end of February, the team will be heading to Japan for the rest of the shoot. The movie will include some heavy action-packed sequences and a total number of three songs. One of the songs is being composed by Sahir Ali Bagga’s brother Sonu. The second song is an item number while the third song will be shot in Japan.

Humayun Ashraf’s Career

Japanese Connection will be Humayun’s second movie. He made his film debut with 2019 musical movie Sacch.

Prior to his film debut, Humayun has been actively working in the television industry. Some of his hit dramas include Mere Khuda, Humnasheen and Ab Dekh Khuda Kya Krta Hai. His debut role of Haroon in Ishq Hamari Galiyon Mein earned him a Hum Award for Best Soap Actor in 2013.

For 2020, the actor has bigger plans as he already has two dramas lined up for him. His upcoming drama Saza-e-Ishq will mark his comeback on TV screens. Apart from this, he is also shooting for another drama Kaisa Yeh Pyar Hai.

Nayab Khan’s Career

Nayab Khan is also geared to set her foot into cinema once again. The Pakistani Canadian model appeared in Pakistani romantic comedy movie Na Band Na Baraati alongside Mikaal Zulfiqar. Her Indian-Canadian movie Rabia and Olivia revolves around a young girl Olivia who suffers from an anxiety disorder.
