The wedding celebrations for Pakistani cricketer Imam-ul-Haq are officially underway as he hosted a fun Qawwali night in Lahore on Thursday.

The event, marked by soulful melodies and energetic performances, attracted a plethora of renowned personalities, including former cricket captains Babar Azam and Sarfaraz Ahmed.

A video captured the lively moments of Babar Azam and Sarfaraz Ahmed immersed in the Qawwali rhythms quickly went viral on social media, showcasing the camaraderie and festive spirit among the cricketing stars. While Sarfaraz reveled in the beat and music, Babar sported a contented smile beside him.

The Qawwali night featured the soul-stirring rendition of the classic “Mera Piya Ghar Aaya,” captivating the audience and creating an unforgettable atmosphere.

Notable personalities such as commentator and presenter Zainab Abbas, chief selector Wahab Riaz, and former leg-spinner Mushtaq Ahmed were also spotted enjoying the cultural extravaganza. Even popular YouTuber Ducky Bhai was also present.

Imam-ul-Haq is all set to tie the knot with Anmol Mehmood on November 25, marking the auspicious occasion with a Nikah ceremony. The festivities will continue with the Walima reception scheduled for November 26.

Cricketing luminaries, including Mohammad Rizwan, Fakhar Zaman, Shadab Khan, and other national team players, are expected to grace the wedding ceremony. Invitations have also been extended to former players and management personnel, ensuring a star-studded celebration.

Amidst the festive atmosphere, the cricketing calendar looms large, with Pakistan’s Test tour to Australia. Imam-ul-Haq will join the national team camp after his Walima.

The camp, currently underway at the Pindi Cricket Stadium, will conclude on November 28, with the team set to depart for Australia on November 30 from Lahore.
