Imran Ashraf, Neelum Muneer Play A Troublesome Couple in New Drama [Video]

Imran Ashraf’s portrayal of Bhola in Ranjha Ranjha Kardi quickly made him a fan favorite. His recently concluded drama serial Inkar opposite Yumna Zaidi also became a big hit. Now the news is that Imran Ashraf’s next project will be opposite Neelam Muneer.

The Dil Nawaz actress shared the promo of her upcoming drama serial on her Instagram.

Talking to a local media outlet, Neelam Muneer and Imran Ashraf opened up about their characters in the drama. Neelam revealed that her character comes from a high-class family. The actress further added that a misunderstanding eventually leads her to get married to Imran who comes from a slightly lower-class family.

“My character belongs to a big, well-off family. She has three brothers and is adored by them. But there’s a misunderstanding, which isn’t her fault and despite everyone believing her, the family just wants her to get married. And she gets married to Imran Ashraf’s character, who is from a lower background than her.”

The drama serial will be on aired on Geo TV under the banner of 7th Sky Entertainment.

Plot

Neelam Muneer went on to add that even after getting married, her life isn’t exactly as peaceful as they make it out to be. Another misunderstanding with Imran Ashraf brings her back to the family but later on, Imran grows up and realizes his mistake.

“It’s after the marriage that problems arise, like how my husband has problems with my family and after another misunderstanding, he leaves me, making me go back to my family. It shows later how he realizes he was at fault for not believing me and my sincerity towards him. Of course there’s a lot more going on which will be revealed as the drama progresses,” Neelam Muneer concluded.

Imran Ashraf says that he loves his character.

“I really love my [character]. He’s not your average romantic hero, there’s a lot more to him than that.”

Cast

The cast of the drama includes Ali Abbas, Nazish Jahangir, Arez Khan, Hammad Farooqui, Saba Faisal and Saba Hamid. The drama has been penned by Qaisra Hayat and  Saima Waseem has taken the director’s chair.

The release date and title of of the drama is yet to be unveiled.
