We all know our Prime Minister was a ladies man back in the 80s. The ‘Kaptaan’ had the looks and personality to charm any girl he liked.
Many popular female celebrities fell in love with Khan’s good looks and charm. But did you know that one particular Bollywood actress is alleged to have an affair with our ‘Kaptaan’?
A Bollywood Icon
We are talking about Zeenat Aman, a legend of the Bollywood industry. The actress was one of the highest paid actresses of her time and had starred in some of the biggest Bollywood blockbusters of the 80s. Her role in Satyam Shivam Sundaram put her on the forefront of the industry.
The gorgeous actress had many local and international admirers but it was our current Prime Minister who got Zeenat’s attention.
According to Orissa Post, the affair started in 1987 when the Pakistani heartthrob visited India. Khan met Zeenat at a party in Mumbai and sparks flew between the two. That’s not all! The two have indirectly mentioned their involvement with one another on several occasions.
A few years ago, the actress visited Lahore and was asked about her rumored relationship with our ‘Kaptaan’. She said:
“Now these are old things, let them remain suppressed, they should be forgotten.”

Not So Happily Married
Zeenat briefly married film producer Sanjay Khan. Later, she got married to Mazhar Khan. The actress has two sons, Azaan and Zahaan Khan. Speaking of her marriage with Mazhar, Zeenat Aman admitted that she was not happy with her husband.
“Mazhar never wanted me to grow as an individual or as an artist. He always wanted me to be with the kids and be at home. During the very first year of marriage I realized I had made a huge mistake, but I decided to live by it and make it work.”
What Could’ve Been…
Well, Zeenat and Imran’s little affair didn’t go as many fans dreamed of.
As for our ‘Kaptaan’, he has been married thrice. And we think he’s happy with Bushra Bibi as things stand. All’s well that ends well we suppose.
