Bollywood’s Pakistan boycott ended up exposing one of their own. Turns out Maddock Films founder Dinesh Vijan’s never had a distribution contract in Pakistan.
After Ajay Devgan announced that Total Dhamaal will not be released in Pakistan following the Pulwama attack, Luka Chuppi‘s Dinesh Vijan followed suit.
No Distribution Contract with Pakistan
The Indian producer announced that the distribution contract with Pakistan has been canceled. As a result Maddock Films’ Luka Chuppi and Arjun Patiala would not be released in Pakistan.
The truth is they never had a distribution contract with Pakistan, to begin with. Easy to cancel an agreement they never made.

Entertainment Pakistan revealed that none of the Pakistani distributors that have contracts with Indian film-makers had a contract with Dinesh Vijan or Maddock Films.
