Indian YouTuber Roasts ‘Pasoori Nu’ With His Own Unique Rendition

Still better than Arijit Singh’s remake.

Indian YouTuber Paramjeet Singh hilariously roasted Bollywood and T-Series’ awful remake of Ali Sethi and Shae Gill’s hit single “Pasoori” with his own unique rendition.

Arijit Singh’s “Pasoori Nu” for the upcoming film SatyaPrem Ki Kathia, starring Karthik Aaryan and Kiara Advani, continues to get a lot of hate online, not just from Pakistani but Indians as well.

A popular Indian YouTuber has gone viral with his own parody version of the Coke Studio banger that is still better than “Pasoori Nu”.

In the now-viral clip, Paramjeet Singh, aka Mister Param, called out Bollywood producers and T-Series for ruining perfectly good songs with their shameless remakes. He shared the clip with a Punjabi caption,

Kann chon lahu chove👂🏻🩸

“Pasoori,” originally sung by Ali Sethi and Shae Gill on Coke Studio Season 14, was and still is a global phenomenon. The Coke Studio 14 song took social media by storm since its release. People all over the world are still vibing to its infectious tune.

In comparison to the original, the Arijit Singh remake is a tone-deaf approach to the one produced by Xulfi and Coke Studio. Netizens are rightfully upset with the remake as it takes a romantic route, unlike its original counterpart.

Netizens praised the original for its tune and style, while this one is a generic Bollywood love song. Arijit Singh has since apologized to the fans of the song, stating that he did it for a noble cause.
