The social media model and influencer Merub Ali recently appeared in an interview, sharing her journey of becoming an actress.
Merub Ali is a stunning Pakistani television fashion model in the industry since 2018 after completing her graduation. She has worked with many prominent clothing brands and is also shown in a music video of Sajjad Ali’s song Lagaya Dil. Recently, she is playing the role of Yumna Zaidi’s sister in the most anticipated ISPR drama Sinf-e-Ahan.
The gorgeous model recently appeared in an interview and let us an insight into her life. When the host asked her how she was picked for an audition in a mega project Sinf-e-Aahan with a stellar cast. She revealed,
“Sana Shahnawaz the producer of the drama called me to ask for an audition, she knew me from Instagram but got my personal number from Gul-e-Rana aunty.”
She added details about her audition,
“I was very nervous because Nadeem Baig was there. The audition was okay but I got selected because of my uncanny resemblance with Yumna Zaidi. My resemblance with her was a plus point in my selection because that’s what they wanted.”
The model also told the host that she discussed the script with Gul-e-Rana and Zara Noor Abbas and they were totally supporting her. She told about the first day of the shoot and said,
“It was in the Old house of Lahore and I was so scared but Nadeem Baid helped me a lot and gave me confidence.”
She opens up about working with the superstar Yumna Zaidi and said she is such a nice person and Merub learned a lot from her.
