Since the day Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor got married, they have been in the headlines and have been showered with love by their fans all over the world. They have been the talk of the town since they announced Alia’s pregnancy in the summer, and are now looking forward to the baby’s arrival with the celebration of an intimate baby shower.
Alia looked completely luminescent in a vibrant yellow jora teamed with minimal kundan jewelry while Ranbir was an absolute hottie in a pastel peach kurta teamed with white trousers.
The Highway actress shared a series of pictures from the celebration on her Instagram with the caption:

The baby shower was attended by her mother, Soni Razdan; elder sister, Shaheen Bhatt; Pooja Bhatt; and Mahesh Bhatt. Her in-laws Neetu Kapoor, Riddhima Kapoor, Karishma Kapoor, and others were also in attendance.
To make the Shandaar actress’s day even more cheerful, her close friends Anushka Ranjan and Akanksha Ranjan joined her on her special day.

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt had previously opened up about how excited they were for this new phase of their lives.
“We have done everything, the room is done, we have done all the preparations that are required for a child,” Ranbir said.
Alia interjected that one can never really be ready for what is to come.
She added, “My checklist is ready like I am foreseeing things, ‘if we have this, etc.’ but one can never be prepared for it. We take each day as it comes.”
