Famous Turkish actor Engin Altan recently visited Pakistan for a business meeting with the Managing Director of Chaudhary Group of Companies, Kashif Zameer. His short visit was heavily scrutinized by the public and what materialized later was rather shocking. Media outlets soon found out that the man who hosted Engin is allegedly a wanted felon – for not one but several different crimes. Kashif Zameer apparently has eight cases registered against him. Now, the media is back again with another report – the DiriliÅŸ: ErtuÄŸrul star allegedly wants to file a report against his host in Pakistan.

The news of Kashif Zameer being a wanted felon made headlines when his pictures with the Turkish actor started surfacing on the internet. He was the man who made Ertugrul’s Engin Altan sit with a lion in the room. After all the public speculations, Zameer was arrested by the Police.
While the business tycoon was arrested on fraud charges, he was later released on bail. But now, word on the street is that Engin Altan himself wants to file a report against the fraudster. According to Neo News, Engin has not been paid the 1 million dollars promised to him. And he has now taken a step to file a case against Zameer.
Allegedly, Engin Altan was contacted by the Consulate General of Pakistan in Istanbul, Bilal Pasha, to set up a meeting. Neither the Turkish actor’s team nor Kashif Zameer has given any statement on this news as of yet.
It is rather unfortunate that while many Turkish actors found fame and livelihood in Pakistan, where they were roped in for high-paying brands and businesses, the business deal with Engin turned out to be terrible. Leads stars, including Esra Bilgic, Didem Balcin, Cengiz Coskun and more were all part of leading campaigns for several brands this year.
