As we run out of interesting content to binge on, a recent development might just be the answer to our prayers. Prison Break S6 might finally be in the making.
Season 6 of the hit television series has long been anticipated. Prison Break’s Season 5 left off back in 2017 and people have been seeking answers since then.
The wait might be worthwhile, as according to IMDB Prison Break S6 is in the works. Is the site dropping hints or is this wishful thinking?

This might not seem like the real deal but Michael Thorn of Fox Entertainment confirmed Prison Break is in the pipeline. However, he stated that Prison Break will be returning in ‘a new iteration‘. This led many to believe the show was moving to a reboot like action-crime drama 24.
“We are developing a new iteration of Prison Break. It’s very early stages of development, but we’re really excited about it. We just heard the pitch…a couple of weeks ago, an approach to the next chapter. But we don’t even have an outline for the pilot yet. I fully expect both brothers will be involved in the series, assuming that they’re all available. There’s a lot to figure out when you’re bringing back the cast of a show where they all have busy careers.”
Yet we still had hope as Prison Break cast member, Dominic Purcell might even have dropped hints on social media.

In another Instagram post, he explained that while we all want to work on Season 6 right, let’s not forget we still have the COVID-19 pandemic to deal with.
“I get smashed with “when is #prisonbreak 6 happening”. What I can promise is this. We are all in agreement that if the story is worthy it will get made. Now with the horror of this #virus the calamity of it all drills inside me a new focus a steely resolve with PRISON BREAK 6”

There is no news on the plot of this new season. We’ve waited this long, a little longer won’t kill us.
