Netflix series ‘Bard of Blood’ trailer was released and netizens immediately called out its decidedly anti-Pakistan and Islamophobic stance. Not just netizens, but even Pakistani celebs called out the obvious hate.
Pakistani celebrities like Shaan Shahid, Mehwish Hayat, Mansha Pasha, and others raised their voices and like other Pakistani Twitterati called on Netflix to do better.

Even Director Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), General Major General Asif Ghafoor called out the series producer Shahrukh Khan and Emraan Hashmi to not use their platform for vilifying Muslims.
DG ISPR also asked Bollywood actor to use his platform to promote peace and speak against atrocities in Indian Occupied Kashmir.
Pakistani starlet Humaima Malick missed the memo and went on to extend support for Emraan Hashmi and his on-going series in an Instagram story. Now her followers are confused.

The series Bard of Blood is set in Balochistan. It cast Emraan Hashmi as a RAW agent, who is in the Pakistani province to track down ‘terrorists’ after four Indian spies are captured.
Her fans aren’t too happy about this, even if she’s just watching the series to know for herself. Will this affect her fanbase?
