In 2017, producer Ritesh Sidhwani confirmed that a third installment of the blockbuster Don franchise is in process. Later it was reported that Farhan Akhtar was working on the script of the film again.
Now it seems that there are some lingering concerns whether the King of Bollywood Shahrukh Khan will be starring in the lead role for Don 3? And if not, who will take over for the baddest of them all?
Or…. this time will it be Ranbir Kapoor’s turn to play the villainous role? The rumor mill is working overtime on this one.

Following the failure of Shahrukh Khan’s latest film Zero, sources have claimed that SRK wants to keep to himself for some time.
The rumors also claim that the Raees star will be making his new film with Rajkumar Hirani under the banner of Red Chilies.
Ironically, If all of this actually happens then both these Bollywood superstars will be swapping their directors for their next films. Ranbir has worked with Hirani for Sanju which was one of the mega hits of the year.
Shah Rukh has also been in the news for the second season of his chat show Ted Talks, which will be releasing very soon.
