While the rest of us will share laughs over Aamir Liaquat’s memes, some aren’t laughing. Veteran actor Jamal Shah is one of them.
His reaction to the viral ‘naagin dance‘ meme is that of disappointment. The former director-general of Pakistan National Council of Arts (PNCA) tweeted;
“I did not expect this from Aamir Liaquat, this is the worse form of art.”

The artist then threw shade at Imran Khan for having such people as party members. He said
“Such companions are befitting for Imran Khan.”
When the culture enthusiast dragged Imran Khan into the mix, people weren’t too happy. Netizens called out how you can’t blame the head of state for the state of television.

He even called out television channels will do anything to sell their content. Even sidelining respect for Ramzan at times.

As a culture activist, what do you think Jamal Shah can do about such kind of content on television? The Baarish Kay Baad actor has his own production house, HunerKada Productions, and created works like Girdaab. He also founded and loves HunerKada art academy in Islamabad.
He was last seen in the drama serial Saya-e-Dewar Bhi Nahi, and his tenure at PNCA ended on 22 September 2019.
