Johnny Depp is clapping back at Amber Heard with a defamation lawsuit and domestic abuse allegations. Turns out Amber Heard wasn’t the victim but the perpetrator of these crimes, according to new documents and evidence presented by Depp’s legal team.
Back in 2018, Amber Heard opened up about her ‘survival story’ after her divorce with Johnny Depp following accusations of domestic abuse.
The Pirates of the Caribbean actor was then kicked off the franchise and Hollywood had a ‘Cancel Johnny Depp’ moment. Now he’s suing Amber Heard for 50 million dollars over false allegations of domestic assault and defamation.

Johnny was the victim, new documents reveal
Turns out not only was this all an elaborate hoax but Johnny was the one who stayed quiet on being a victim. Aquaman‘s Mera physically assaulted Johhny Depp on many counts.
According to his lawyers:
“Ms. Heard is not a victim of domestic abuse, she is a perpetrator.”
Based on the details of abuse in the lawsuit, Amber once threw a bottle of vodka at Johnny Depp. Depp had to require surgery as a result of the injury to his hand.
Turns out Aquaman‘s Mera was combative off the sets too. She punched Johnny Depp while he was in bed and kicked him on numerous occasions.
The bruises and evidence that Amber provided when she filed a domestic abuse case against Johnny were all staged. There are numerous witnesses to testify that Amber staged her own attack.
“Unaware that members of Mr. Depp’s security team (including an 18-year veteran of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department) were mere feet away, Ms. Heard falsely began yelling, ‘Stop hitting me, Johnny,’…….The interaction culminated with Ms. Heard making false allegations that Mr. Depp struck her with a cell phone, hit her and destroyed the penthouse. There were multiple eyewitnesses to this hoax.”

A Scarred Career
The lawsuit also specifies that Amber Heard used the domestic abuse story amid the #MeToo movement in order to promote her career.
“They were part of an elaborate hoax to generate positive publicity for Ms. Heard and advance her career.”
Amber Heard’s ‘survival story’, the one got her the role of Mera in James Wan’s Aquaman, is now threatening to get her kicked off.
The sequel to the movie is currently in the pipeline. Aquaman 2 release date is December 15, 2022.
