‘Journalist’ Arnab Goswami Gets A Dose of His Own Medicine During Flight

The infamous journalist gets called out by comedian Kunal Kamra.

Remember the infamous Indian journalist, Arnab Goswami, who reported that former actor Hamza Ali Abbasi is an ISI agent? The same guy whose name Altaf Hussain got wrong? Well, he is in the news again, though this time he got more than he asked for as the Indian journalist got trolled on his IndiGo flight from Mumbai to Lucknow.

Goswami is known for being loud (think megaphone on blast loud). He also makes it a point to heckle his guests who appear on his current affairs show.

This time however, Arnab got a taste of his own medicine by Indian stand-up comedian Kunal Kamra. The comedian trolled the journalist and gave him an earful about his ‘journalism’.

“All he did was call me mentally unstable & after some time I had no choice but to return to my seat,” wrote Kamra.

Kunal later posted a video where he calls Goswami a ‘coward’ for refusing to answer to his questions about a Dalit student, Rohit Vermula. Arnab  had vilified the young student after false cases were registered against him. This resulted in Rohit committing suicide.

When Kamra accosted Goswami, the journalist pretended to watch a video on his laptop and turned a blind eye to Kamra’s pinching questions. Check it out:

Following their interaction, IndiGo had to ban Kamra from flying with them for six months.

However, instead of feeling bad about it, Kunal took the suspension in stride and even thanked IndiGo!

There’s still no word from Arnab about the incident. Though people on social media are interested to see what he has to say for himself. Stay tuned to find out more this issue.
