2020 is turning to be a bizarre year. As if the global pandemic was not enough, the world might have to look forward to a ‘Yeezy’ presidency in the near future! Yup, that’s right. Kanye West has announced that he is running for the office of the President of the United States.
The renowned rapper made the shocking announcement on July 4, creating fireworks on social media during America’s annual holiday. Kanye used the hashtag #2020Vision to announce his intentions of joining the November presidential ticket. Here’s what he tweeted.

We’re not quite sure whether this is some publicity stunt or a way to steal voters from Biden as according to some people. They believe that Kanye is a big Trump supporter and is only joining the race to help the current president remain in the Oval Office.
What’s even more surprising is that tech billionaire Elon Musk is in full support of Kanye West and some speculate he might even be the rapper’s first choice for vice president!
