On day three of their Royal visit to Pakistan, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge headed up north to Chitral. Kate Middleton and Prince William put on traditional Chitrali caps and shawls for the occasion.
Prince William and Kate Middleton were gifted traditional caps by the locals. They also gave Prince William an embroidered coat and as well as a shawl for Kate. The Duchess ended up wearing both.

The tour will contribute towards promoting tourism in Pakistan. This is something that the current government has been adamantly pushing for in attempts to gain an economic boost.
Prince William and Kate Middleton met with locals and saw them perform a traditional Kalash dance.
That’s when the Duchess of Cambridge even tried on a Kalash head-dress.

The Kalash valley in Chitral is swiftly becoming major tourists’ attraction for foreign tourists.
Prince William and Kate interacted with the locals to learn about the effects of life after flooding due to climate change. They even went to see Chiatibo Glacier. During his address at the British High Commission reception, the Duke of Cambridge talked about this.
“I hope to learn what more we all can do to help prevent and mitigate this impending global catastrophe.”
Afterward, the royal couple headed to other villages to interact with villagers to learn about their culture and heritage.
