Khalil ur Rehman Abuses Male Journalist in Viral Clip [Video]

Yet another explosive clip.

Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar has been on the hot seat, after verbally abusing Marvi Sirmed on live television. The public is divided into two groups; one supports him and his actions while others want him out of sight for good. Either way, this whole situation has been bizarre.

For those who are unaware of developments, but here’s a quick recap of what Khalil did recently.

The media was not having it, from the general public to big-shot celebrities; Everyone had something to say about this whole situation. And of course, he also became a part of the conversation in many households.

While some people argued that they fear for the women in Mr. Qamar’s family, recent events unfolded that it’s not just women he is abusive towards.

Turns out Khalil ur Rehman’s temper doesn’t discriminate at all, with no regard for anyone else’s opinion or even their rights to expression.

What happened?

Recently an interviewer from a media organization, who was brave enough to question Mr. Qamar on his recent actions and how it might affect the public views and opinions, was at the receiving end of his diatribe. Mr. Qamar lost it, again.

When asked about the talk show with Marvi Sirmed, he got riled up and said:

Any woman who misbehaves and fights for gender equality I will reply to her in the worst manner.

The interviewer seemed like he wanted to show Mr. Qamar a clear picture of what his misogynistic actions looked like to the public. He reminded Mr. Qamar that a lot of the viewers will be watching this interview as well. To which he said:

I don’t care if people are watching she was to be punished for this. I respect women the most but if anyone misbehaves and talks about gender equality I will not leave her.

Marvi Sirmed abused me. She said shut up to me and if somebody tries to talk to me like this, I will kill that person.

Khalil ur Rehman was apparently done with the conversation and wanted the interviewer to move forward and change the subject. But the interviewer pushed a little more. That was when the abuses began and the cameraman was told to stop recording.

Here’s the whole clip:

There’s something to be said here. Mr. Qamar enjoys a lot of influence, and he should be careful about what sort of message his actions are sending across to his fan following. Is being violent and aggressive towards anyone OK? We will leave it to our readers to decide.

  1. This man is an ambrassment not only to civilized people but to whole Pakistan. Renowned or not he is nothing, zero as a person. People who support him are semi civilized , sami litrate lot, will take hundred years to modrenise and understand that women do not need permission from anyone to live their lives as if every woman will become loose as soon as they come out of house, they need permission to be out of the four walls, are they animals?. Their prime role is to bear children? who says that? some molvis and some backward women hiding behind religion. A person comes first then gender, if someone wants to bear children that’s their choice if not who are these people to tell how to live by their rules and who give them power over the other person? Are they feeding them ? even then the holy then thou attitude should be implemented to themselves. No man or woman owe them any explanation to live lives in a free society if they are adults as long as they are not comitting a crime wether woman or man. Backward societies are caught up in how to curtail women’s civil rights and civil liberties gaurnteed by constitution while modren world is reaching to the stars by the help of women scientists , would this be possible in a backward society like ours where woman’s place is supposed to be inside the famous “four walls” a term originated from mullahs and their followers as if women are just breeding machines nothing else. Modrinzation and common sense thinking is unstoppable ask after twenty years . Women should be taken as a person first then another object for any person to jump in and start lacturing how they should behave , what gives them this right?

  2. This guy Khalil ur Rehman is sick, he seems to be suffering from a serious inferiority complex or a suppressed childhood emotional scar. He needs help not more air time.

  3. There is a limit, he should be stoped now.He is furious that Marvi said shut up to him, now he himself started and became abusive without a reason. What a contrast. If he is short tempered this is his problem. Why does he expect people to take his non sense all the time.

  4. If you can’t control yourself, how can you control others/women. Sobriety and patience is the first requirement, for convincing the world. How violent and unreasonable, sometimes, grown up people can be.

  5. He is very short tempered person, and continously degrading the interviewers, he should be banned, he has disappointed the viewers.

  6. He is suffering from anxiety and depression, needs immediate medical help. Media should not tease him for rating. Let this matter finish now.

  7. Khalil ur Rehman sb, aap aik celibrity hain… Aap ko ye attitude zaib nahi deta…. Soch k bolna acha hota hay…. You are acting so strange now a days… It seems like you are mentally ill…. Stop appearing on media, avoid interviews if you are weak to face such tough questions…
In punjabi we say “bharray roun nalon, chup chagi aay”

  8. I am very against Marvi Sarmad but the attitude this sick person is also unjustified. Totally mannerless and proudy person. He needs proper medical treatment.

  9. Jb kisi ko corner kia jia tou achy achon ka sabr jwb dedeta hy Han khlil shb ko itna hyper nhi hona chahie lkn br br ik hi sawal krke uksana bhi galt hi hy.

  10. Till now he has been supported after that sarmad marvi episode, but now after this clip, he will have a backlash even from those people who had been supporting him after the marvi episode

  11. He is a person who is suffering from megalomania and his dramas are true representation of his mental sickness. Apart from Marvi Sarmad, he is intolerant to the view of others. What he says about emancipation of women right, it’s all lip service.
He needs treatment but I doubt he would improve
