Due to its immense popularity, social media is on fire for the past few days. People have been speculating what the ending will be like. Questions regarding Danish’s marriage to Hania or his reconciliation with Mehwish are all that people are curious about.
But, given the kind of plot twists Khalil ur Rehman Qamar is famous for, one of his main characters always end up dead and the drama ends on a tragic note. Like how Afzal died in Pyarey Afzal or how Shano passes away in the last episode of Sadqay Tumhare, people are nervous that Danish will end up with a similar fate.

To answer all of the viewer’s ‘theories’, the Meray Pass Tum Ho writer met with the team of Entertainment Pakistan and spilled some beans on the end of the drama.
Here’s what he said,
“My viewers are always wondering whether one of my leads would die in the end or not. So these rumors and theories are always there. Pray that this time I do a happy ending.”
Talking about how fans are taking the matter too seriously, the playwright said a drama should be treated like fiction and nothing less.
“I was at the airport yesterday where a group of girls stopped me and said Khalil sir, we heard that you are killing the character of Danish, please do not kill him! I said, what are you talking about, this is only a story, and you should treat it like a story! However, it seemed like they will start crying if I say Danish will die.”
Khalil also mentioned that for the record, he wants a happy ending for his drama.
“This time, I want my record to break. I hope no character dies. However, I can confirm this, when I last said that Danish will be murdered, I was only messing with you people! There will be no murder, Danish will live. I have written a very soft play this time so if God wills things will go as you want them to go!”
So it is confirmed, Danish will not die and we all can relax now. But, the writer also added a mischievous remark.
“However, sit with your medications because whatever happens is not my responsibility!”
