In the recent episode of Khuda Aur Mohabbat 3, it feels like the slow burn of the drama serial is becoming slow torture. The pace of the drama serial still isn’t picking up as we’re left at one cliffhanger after another with the end of each episode.
Mahi’s torment at the hands of her mother-in-law continues. Even as we see her nurse the old woman back to health.
The mother-in-law is not softening up at all. She’s rather annoyed with the kindness. Whoever said kindness can disarm hate hasn’t met this woman.

Meanwhile, the trust between Mahi and Sikander continues to grow. Especially after she endures abuse to look after her mother-in-law.
Meanwhile, the mystic aspect of the drama serial is right where we left it. In the midst of riddles.
The only development we really saw was when Mahi’s friend comes to visit. This is used as an opportunity to build some context. Mahi is deliberately torturing herself as she legit believes Farhaad’s bad dua is what caused Taimoor’s death.
One aspect that is finally picking up pace is Sikander and Romana’s story. When Romana finally comes clean about wanting to get away from her life at the brothel for ages.
Although Sikander says it’s impossible for him to take her home, he’s offended when she suggests she can just be one of the servants like all the other women employed at his abode.
He voices how she’s so much more than that to him. That’s the only bit of actual ‘mohabbat’ we see left in Khuda Aur Mohabbat 3, as the drama drives us around with anguishing heartbreak. Will Mahi and Farhaad finally come face to face in the next episode of the drama?
