After a four-year romance, Bollywood diva Athiya Shetty and Indian cricketer, KL Rahul, tied the knot on Monday. The couple had a fairytale house wedding at Sunil Shetty’s residence in Khandala.
KL Rahul shared glimpses from the wedding ceremony on Twitter. He wrote,
Today, with our most loved ones, we got married in the home that’s given us immense joy and serenity. With a heart full of gratitude and love, we seek your blessings on this journey of togetherness. 🙏🏽
KL Rahul and Athiya Shetty’s wedding kicked off with a festive Mehndi ceremony, followed by a Haldi and Sangeet celebration over the weekend. Bollywood stars Suniel and Mana Shetty decorated their Khandala residence for their daughter’s grand wedding.
Suniel Shetty wore a traditional kurta and dhoti with a Hindu bead accessory. While his son, Ahan Shetty, rocked an open white sherwani.
Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul took their vows in the presence of their respective family members, close relatives, and friends. According to reports, Suniel Shetty got emotional as the couple started their pheras, a common Indian wedding ritual.
