In recent Ertugrul related news, people have discovered a new Sindhi drama that has been inspired by the Turkish historical series. Whether this is good news or bad, one thing is for sure; Pakistanis are finally ready to admit they need something new on their TV screens.
In a thread posted on Twitter, it was revealed that the show Raj Rani will be aired on Kawish Television Network [KTN]. The channel is popularly known for its shows in the Sindhi language.
While some people are looking forward to Raj Rani‘s release, others think this is not a good idea.
Let’s take a look at some of the pictures that have been circulating on social media:
While not much is known about this series, we can see it will be packed with lots of action, swords, and forts. Let’s take a look at the trailer:
More than anything, people are appreciative of the fact that KTN took notice of the public’s demands. However, a few think this is a hilarious mistake.
It is a matter of happiness that Sindhis are making such dramas because the terrorists who are always shown on TV are terrorists in real Life Not Sindhis are peace loving and hospitable.

We will know for sure whether or not this show tells a different tale than that of Ertugrul once it is on air. Till then let’s celebrate the fact that women are finally being given empowering roles, and we’re moving forward from the basic saas-bahu stories.
