The thing about doing something stupid is that no one has to know, but if you post it online, of course everyone will know. That’s what happened to a teen from Lahore who was arrested for aerial firing.
Police arrested the teen for aerial firing and posing with firearms when his social media video went viral.
It all started with a CCTV footage of a person engaging in aerial firing in Mughalpura area of Lahore.
When this footage went viral police set out to look for the culprit. CCPO Lahore took notice of the report and directed the police to take action against him.
The young man’s social media was a dead giveaway, attracting the attention of the law enforcement authorities.

Police told ARY News that;
“These acts from the youngster were creating a sense of fear in the neighbourhood,”
Aerial firing is a criminal offense and people are now being caught based on their social media profiles. However, people still get away despite the public display of a criminal act.
Previously in December 2019, actress Sarwat Gillani shared a video of herself engaging in aerial firing. The comments online demanded that the law take its course against her. Though nothing became of it.
The Jawani Phir Nahi Ani actress did delete the video following the backlash, but things last forever online.
