Recently, a Sikh resident of Shangla’s Chakesar was shot dead by unidentified assailants on Sunday. The murder of 25-year-old Parvinder Singh created a protest in Peshawar as people demanded justice for the young man.
The Peshawar police stated that they have solved the murder and found the body of Parvinder on the intervening night of Saturday and Sunday.
According to Peshawar police, the person responsible for the death of Parvinder Singh was his fiancée, who reportedly hired some assassins to have him killed.
According to the post-mortem report, the deceased was shot in the head. The police said the man had been killed somewhere else and his body was dumped on the GT Road later. Parvinder’s brother Harmeet Singh, a journalist, received his body from authorities in Peshawar on Sunday.
