The new trailer for John Wick 3: Parabellum is here and we finally get a look at who thinks they can take on John Wick.
First off the trailer was everything you’d expect from a John Wick movie – gunshots, kills stand-off action, dogs – and now a clear villain.
John Wick: Chapter 3’s previous trailer did develop the story a bit and introduced key characters. This trailer gave our antagonist a face Asia Kate Dillon as ‘The Adjudicator‘.
With the new trailer, the makers have amped up the excitement and while it is in the same line as the previous trailer, it does give some introduction to the new characters who are out there to take down John Wick and also reveals who is on his side, or so it seems.

Everything Old is New Again?
We even find out that Sir Ian McShane is helping Wick on the low even though he is the one who put a bounty on his head in the first place (all for the blood sport, or is he killing out the competition?).
We get to see more of Halle Berry’s femme fatale Sophia. Sophia seems to share a love-hate relationship with John Wick.
Lawrence Fishburne’s character is apparently an underground mob boss and he’s seen warning The Adjudicator not to take on Wick.

We’re confused about Hiroyuki Sanada’s character after the new trailer. Is on John’s side or out to kill him?
The mysterious tarot card lady in the first trailer seems like more than meets the eye. We now know she’s the mysterious Director (the mysterious part is constant). She’s on John’s side but when she says “All of this for what? Just because of a puppy?”
To which John replies,
“It wasn’t just a puppy”.
John Wick: Chapter 3 Cast and Release Date
The third installment of the John Wick franchise is directed by Chad Stahelski. John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum cast Keanu Reeves as the boogeyman and Ian McShane as Winston. New additions include Halle Berry, Laurence Fishburne, Mark Dacascos, Asia Kate Dillon, Lance Reddick, Saïd Taghmaoui, Jerome Flynn, Jason Mantzoukas, Tobias Segal, Boban Marjanovic, and Anjelica Huston.
John Wick: Chapter 3 — Parabellum release date is May 17.
