Here are the details.

London Nahi Jaunga

The COVID-19 pandemic isn’t over yet and we are still struggling with our daily lives. Even though the world is slowly going back to normal, coronavirus continues to become a major hurdle for businesses and industries.

The Pakistani entertainment industry also faced a huge loss because of it. During the six months of prolonged lockdown, productions were halted and cinemas were shut down in order to prevent the spread of the virus.

Now that cinemas have opened up, filmmakers are contemplating to release their highly awaited projects for the year. But it seems that Nadeem Baig’s London Nahi Jaunga won’t screen this year.

London Nahi Jaunga release postponed due to coronavirus

In a recent interview with Dawn Images, he revealed that the star-studded movie won’t release until summer 2021 as 18 days’ worth of shooting in London is yet to be completed.

“I hope that by summer next year, life would have normalized. That’s when I will be ready to schedule a release date.”

He further said,

“As a director, one of my main priorities always is to maximize profits for my producer. Right now, even if cinemas do open up, I would not feel safe going to watch a movie. And if I’m not comfortable sitting in a movie theatre, I can’t expect my audience to want to do the same.”

Although one of his movies is stuck halfway due to COVID-19, Nadeem Baig is still optimistic about the rise of theater in 2021. He revealed his next silver screen project Naram Garam and shared some interesting facts about the very much loved duo of Vasay Chaudhry and Humayun Saeed.

“Vasay will surprise you in this movie. He is the main lead, although Humayun will also be playing a very significant part.”
