Mahira Khan was the source of some major style envy on her recent Turkey trip. Rumor has it the Raees actress wasn’t all dolled up just for the friend’s wedding but also her own engagement.
While everything from Mahira’s wedding white ensembles to that heavily embellished, white Faraz Manan lehenga choli and a navy blue Menahel and Mehreen apparel were indeed engagement worth, it was too good to be true.
India Today’s story fanned the rumors of Mahira and Turkey-based businessman Salim Karim gettinf engaged. All because they were ‘dressed in formal attire and are standing close to each other’.

When this news made their way to Mahira and Salim, Mahira rubbished the rumors. The Verna actress called a spade a spade or in this case a rumor, a rumor.
“It’s just a rumour. She was there for a friend’s wedding and that’s all.”
This isn’t the first Mahira Khan has been shipped with someone just for being in the same place at the same time. Back in 2017, when photographs of the Bol actress sharing a smoke with Bollywood heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor surfaced, people called it a coupling.
What gossip columns reported to be as a “romantic bond” turned out to be a “casual friendship”. Ranbir then confirmed his relationship with fellow actor Alia Bhatt (that’s what we call ‘baat paki‘).
