After Sanam Jung yet another starlet has contracted the coronavirus. In an Instagram post, Pakistan’s sweetheart Mahira Khan announced that she has tested positive for COVID-19. Since then prayers for her recovery flooded in. The starlet thanked everyone for the love and prayers.
“I am better and on my way to recovery. Alhumdulillah. Have no doubt in my heart that all your prayers worked their magic. I felt the love, I felt it all. I love love love you.”

Recently the Superstar actress posted that she is currently isolating and has also informed people that could potentially have contracted the virus from her.
“I have tested positive for COVID-19. I’m isolating and have also informed all those who have been in close contact with me over the last few days,”
Mahira also warned others to strictly follow all pandemic SOPs and religiously wear a mask.
“Please please wear a mask and follow all other sops – for your sake and others,”
Pakistan is currently going through phase 2 of the Coronavirus pandemic. Following a brief period of cases dying down, the sudden second spike on spread of the virus marks phase 2 of the viral outbreak.
Given the fact that COVID-19 is a viral contagion, the virus has adapted and the new strain seems more virulent even affecting young people. Several deaths of young people have been reported. Initially it was determined the virus has an estimated 2% mortality rate and affects senior citizens age 60+ and the immuno-compromised.
