Mahira Khan is an incredible actress and she has proved her mark through and through. The actress recently turned 35 and her fans and followers lauded her on social media with birthday wishes and congratulatory messages.
In response to all the love she received, Mahira took to her Instagram and shared her overwhelming feelings.
Mahira posted a photograph with her son Azlan and expressed her beautiful journey of motherhood over the years into words.
“Exactly 10 years ago my life changed. I was a 24-year-old girl with a baby in my arms celebrating my 25th birthday. These ten years feel like a thousand… with experiences worth a lifetime,” she wrote.

Mahira also wrote about the ups and downs she faced on this journey. She wrote about the hardships she had faced during her divorce and the times when hope had left her side. But then there were days when she was hopeful and also saw herself as a successful actress.
The actress then went on to thank the people who supported her and believed in her.
“We are nothing without the people who have stood by us – you all are the wind beneath my wings. I thank you with all my heart and soul. I promise you all that I will pay it forward in every way I possibly can. InshAllah”
Mahira again mentioned her son, Azlaan and expressed her love for him.
“As I write this, here I am a 35 year old woman with a 10 year old not so baby boy, still wrapped in my arms.”
