Pakistani actor Omair Rana’s wife, Maira has come forward with a statement following the Lahore Grammar School scandal.
Recently, students had reported complaints about sexual harassment from staff members. Maira, who also holds an administrative role at LGS 1A1, was also been accused of misconduct and silencing students from complaining about her husband’s misbehavior with female students.

After being accused of ‘slut-shaming’ and silencing the female students who have been victims of sexual harassment, Maira Omair Rana took to her social media account to make a statement. Here’s what she wrote:
Ever since the news broke about students revealing that they had been sexually harassed by the staff of Lahore Grammar School, social media has been up in arms. The people demand justice for the victims and the culprits to be apprehended.
One of the former male staff members accused of such heinous behavior was Pyaar Ke Sadqay star Omair Rana.
Several students came forward their stories and made allegations against the actor for harassing them under an anonymous Instagram account “Harassment@1A1”. At the time, Omair Rana was hired to direct the school’s annual play. One student shared an Instagram story:
“Omair Rana was hired for the school annual play. So many girls had issues with his behavior. He would flirt, and joke inappropriately. Initially, it was taken all in fun. Like everyone admired him to the core [as] he was known for being so good in dramatics. Everyone wanted to learn from him, be at their best with him. But gradually it started becoming clear as more and more girls started experiencing it. His body language was inappropriate. The way he would speak, look at you, and even texted a few girls inappropriately.”
People on social media are still demanding action against Omair Rana and the other culprits accused of sexual harassment. The Pyaar Ke Sadqay star has denied all these allegations and is willing to take legal action to defend himself. Stay posted for more updates on this story.
