TikTok claims yet another life as s 24-year-old man from India tried to kill himself by consuming pesticides. To experience the feeling of death, Dhananjaya recorded it all on TikTok.
The deceased was a resident of Gouraganahalli, Tumakuru district in India. Reports say that he had brought pesticides from a local shop after his mother scolded him for not earning money, on Saturday evening. In the 15-second TikTok video, he took his own life.
“I want to experience the feeling of what death would be like. I will try to kill myself.”
As per police investigation, Dhananjaya only wanted to scare his mother with the suicide threat. He consumed poison near a farm but later panicked thinking he would die.
His condition didn’t allow him to ride back home so he called his friend. When his friend arrived, he took him to a hospital on Saturday night, where he was declared dead.
The police registered a case of unnatural death.
This was not his first attempt
Police claimed that this was not the first time Dhananjaya had done something like this. He once rammed his bike into a tree to ‘experience’ the feeling of cheating death. During that incident, he survived with minor injuries.
His obsession with death led him to repeatedly endanger his life for the sake of a number of views. He regularly shared his opinions with his 431 followers on TikTok.
