Pakistan might be known as one of the most charitable nations but we still love money too much. A man stabbed and killed his cousin over 100 rupees in the Bhikhi Road area of Karachi, fleeing the scene of the crime after doing the deed.
On Wednesday, police confirmed the murder had indeed been over a dispute of 100 rupees. The officers at the A Division Police Station report that the murder suspect Shahbaz attacked his paternal cousin Waqas with a knife, stabbing and killing him in the process. Shahbaz hails from Sheikhupura.

After attacking his cousin Waqas, Shahbaz fled the scene of the crime. Sheikhupura police reached the crime scene, recovered the body, and sent it for post-mortem.
Search ongoing for the killer
The search for Shahbaz is ongoing and raids are being conducted to locate and detain the suspect. Sheikhupura police expect to arrest the suspect soon. The facts in the matter can only be ascertained after an investigation.
According to officers at the ‘A Division police station’ the victim Waqas, is the son of the suspect Shahbaz’s paternal uncle. It cannot be confirmed if the suspect was carrying the knife with the intent to kill Waqas from the beginning. That would make this a case of premeditated murder.
