To believe or not to believe?

Mani just made a joke about his first marriage and we’ve gotta say, it was in bad taste. Forget politically incorrect, a joke about an ex gone too far is asking for trouble. And it also got people confused.

Actor Salman Saqib Sheikh AKA Mani first opened up about an event in his personal life. The incident was about his ex and a son from his first marriage. He then revealed it was a joke, and that it was his way of poking fun at bloggers.

Interestingly, that wasn’t the end of it. He then continued posting about that specific piece of information on Instagram.

In a recent episode of Gupshup with Shaista Lodhi, Mani talked about his role as a son, son in law and father. Amidst this, he ‘spilled a secret’ about his son Nayyer.

Shaista Lodhi asked about the actor’s first marriage, and how his ‘current’ wife, Hira found out about it. Mani said that he kept Hira in the dark for 10-12 years till his first wife showed up

“One day my first wife came to our doorstep, asking me for money for our son. Hira found out and to my surprise, she said she is willing to accept Nayyer as her own. I couldn’t believe how big of a heart she had.”

He said that they didn’t have Internet back then so it didn’t make headlines. He then said it’s a joke and had a laugh. Now he’s still sharing the ordeal on Instagram. For those that haven’t seen the video, they fell for it.
