Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari’s wedding preparations are in full swing. The ceremony is scheduled on January 30th in Karachi but it seems that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz Vice-President Maryam Nawaz will not attend the ceremony.
The news was confirmed by PML-N leader Muhammad Zubair Umar. The former Sindh governor said that Maryam Nawaz won’t be able to attend Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari’s wedding ceremony due to some personal engagements.
Meanwhile, Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that he was not invited to the wedding. When he was asked whether he would attend Asif Zardari’s daughter’s wedding, he expressed ignorance regarding the event and said,
“Whose marriage? I have not been invited to Zardari Sahab’s daughter’s wedding. I have no idea who is attending the wedding; however, I have not been invited.”
On January 22, Bilawal House announced the wedding date of Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari and Mahmood Chaudhry. According to the details, a Milad function was held on January 24th while a simple Mehndi ceremony will take place on 27th (today).
A spokesperson of Bilawal House said that the Nikkah ceremony will be held on January 29 while the Barat is scheduled for January 30.
