Children are a blessing, grandchildren even more so. Yet someone’s professional reputation can overshadow the fact that they can be all giddy around their kids too. So when we got to see Maryam Nawaz, as the ‘Nano’ in action it took the Internet by storm.
The lioness of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz isn’t so fierce around her cubs. The PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz specifically stopped on her way back from Bahawalpur to Lahore to buy knick-knacks for her granddaughter Serena.

A PML-N leader Sonia Ashiq filmed the PML-N Vice President’s cute exchange with her granddaughter.
The sight of a political leader trying to appease a child on video call will have you gushing over the sight.
“I got red chips for you. You want to see?” says Maryam.
The PLM-N Vice Chief then heads over to a wall where a toy doctor’s set is hanging. She then asks;
“Look, look at this doctor’s set Serena. You want this one? You want the doctor’s set or do you want the bus?”
She then proceeded to sing the ‘wheels on the bus’. When the video went viral Maryam had no qualms asserting she does indeed have a soft spot, her name is Serena.

On the downside, Serene didn’t get her red chips because hungry ‘Pervaiz Uncle‘ ate them on the way to Lahore.
