Mathira Reacts to Zara Noor Abbas’ Statements on Gender Equality

Here’s what both women have to say about gender equality

Mathira

Television personality Mathira has responded to Zara Noor Abbas’ comments on gender equality. The Zebaish actress took to her social media to interact with her fans when one of her followers asked her to share her views on the treatment women receive.

According to the follower, ‘women are belittled at every step of their life’. Zara disagreed and replied:

“Women are not always belittled but they are repeatedly questioned for their choices in life. Why is that question not standard for men in the corporate worlds?”

The star said that women and men are not equal. They both have a separate place. Concluding her statement, she said,

“Women give birth to another human being. Men can’t do that.”

When the screenshots went viral on social media, different publications shared it on their Instagram. Mathira came across one of the posts, and replied in the comments. She believes that men and women aren’t build to compete but rather complete each other. She wrote,

“A man is incomplete without a woman and a woman is incomplete without a man, both are made different for each other’s betterment, not to compete and take brownie points”.

Do you agree with her? Let us know in the comments.
