Popular Islamic scholar, missionary and public speaker Maulana Tariq Jameel was awarded with YouTube’s Golden Play Button award for reaching 1 million subscribers.
He is acknowledged all over Pakistan and abroad as well for his religious sermons.

Maulana Tariq Jameel is ranked No 40 on the list of the ‘World’s 500 Most Influential Muslims.’ The list describes him as a “prominent Deobandi scholar who is also one of the most popular preachers in Pakistan”.
According to his profile:
“He belongs to the Tablighi Jamaat group and his lectures focus on the subject of self-purification, avoidance of violence, observance of Allah’s orders and pursuing the way of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him).”
Having millions and millions of viewers all over the world, especially in Pakistan, Maulana Tariq Jameel has been successful in spreading the message of Islam. People listen to his lectures on TV or attend live seminars and other gatherings held by him.

He also has a YouTube Channel, Tariq Jameel Official, where he uploads videos of him delivering the lectures.
Currently, he has around 1.3 million subscribers on his channel. According to YouTube’s rule book, a channel hitting 1 million subscribers is awarded the YouTube Golden Play Button.
Reportedly, Maulana Tariq Jameel’s YouTube page is the first Islamic YouTube channel in Pakistan which has attracted 1 million subscribers.

However, this isn’t the very first YouTube channel receiving the Golden Play Button award. YouTube channels Kitchen with Amna and P4Pakao also received the award upon hitting 1 million subscribers.
