Coronavirus is spreading like a wildfire. Pakistan alone has reported over 300 cases in the past 3 or 4 days and the risk of more cases is getting bigger and bigger.

The government is handling the situation as they can, but it is also time that we play our part. Many celebrities have shared their concerns about the epidemic. And those who recently returned from foreign countries are going into self-quarantine. Maya Ali too wants you to know that this is a very serious situation.

Maya Ali Shares her Personal Experience

Talking about her return from the Shaukat Khanum fundraising US tour, Maya Ali revealed that this entire time, she was stressed and anxious because she thought she might have contracted the virus herself.

“It’s been almost 5 days since I came back from my Shaukat Khanum fundraising US tour. I had chills when I was there. I got really worried so when I arrived at Lahore airport, they had a proper procedure for all the travelers to go through under the screening. Then I got checked myself and waited 2 days for results.

Alhamdulillah test turned out negative. But this whole process wasn’t that easy. Stress, anxiety, sleepless nights and most importantly that fear,” Maya Ali wrote on Instagram.

Maya also said that we must take the situation seriously because all we can do right now is ‘self care and follow the proper measures’.

She expressed her concerns for the underprivileged segments as well as they are more vulnerable to the disease. She said that she would really appreciate it if the government could arrange a team to get them checked free of cost.
