Meera Slams Trolls for Slut-Shaming Actresses

Here’s what happened.

meera

Meera is known for her savage remarks on social media. Now the actress is slamming trolls for targeting the characters of Pakistani actresses.

Unfortunately, it is not uncommon for people that avidly consume content from Pakistan’s media industry to resort to either name-calling or indulge in slut-shamming.

While actresses will school such trolls from time to time, Meera Jee did not mince her words at all. The actress addressed the myth about the Pakistani entertainment industry being a ‘source of obscenity‘ (Manto, Waar, Donkey King anyone?)

Heroin mean heroin in real life so they’re not prostitutes they don’t work in clubs in Pakistan film industry mean Film Industry not a sex club industry.

She straight-up said that an actress is an actress, and that’s a profession in real life. She then elaborated on a definition of prostitute. a term ignorantly used for media workers. As well as clarify how the film industry is not a prostitution club.

Her fans agreed with her.
